The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the South Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia.

In Siegfried's South region, the Firm is excited about Omatseye Amorighoye, Mark DiMaggio, Blake Pierce and Sonya Pu joining the team.

Omatseye Amorighoye, CPA

Saye is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Washington, DC Market as an Associate Director. She comes to Siegfried with several years of experience in both private and public accounting. Her previous work includes external audit, internal audit and financial reporting roles at KPMG, Amtrak and Fannie Mae. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Howard University.

"The variety of challenging work and opportunity to travel is what initially drew me to Siegfried," says Saye. "But the people and the strong culture were what eventually sold me on the Firm!"

When she's not hard at work, Omatseye loves to try new things and take advantage of all of the exciting activities that the D.C. area has to offer. She also likes to stay active by exercising and taking yoga and spin classes.

Mark DiMaggio, CPA

Mark DiMaggio is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Associate. He previously worked with BDO where he gained three years of audit experience. He received his BS in Accounting from Clemson University and his MS in Accounting from Arizona State University.

According to Mark, "The opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and engagements with people that share the same passion for learning and commitment to client service excellence are what appealed to me about The Siegfried Group."

In his spare time, Mark is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching both college and professional football. He also stays active and enjoys the outdoors by spending time hiking in Arizona. Mark has a strong sense of adventure, and has successfully jumped out of an airplane!

Blake Pierce, CPA

Blake is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the South Florida Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the real estate industry. He received his BS in Accounting and his Masters in Corporate Accounting from Florida State University.

Blake's innovative and tactile approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to bring out the best in his team makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. Blake says, "The challenge of taking on new client projects and working alongside dedicated, intelligent people is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Blake stays active through sport and travel. He's an avid FSU supporter and loves to travel back to his alma mater for primetime football games. He also enjoys snorkeling and spear fishing in the Florida Keys and has a knack for finding adventure when he travels; from zip lining in Costa Rica to white water rafting in the Rocky Mountains. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.  

Sonya Pu

Sonya is joining the Siegfried Group Atlanta Market as a Senior Associate. Her previous work experience includes PwC, where she gained four and a half years of audit experience. She received her BS in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics from Florida State University.  

Sonya's positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a perfect fit for Siegfried's business model. Sonya says, "I enjoy having the ability to work on a variety of projects while also networking with individuals at Siegfried and clients!"

In her spare time, Sonya volunteers as a big sister for the Big Brothers and Sisters Club of Metro Atlanta and the Atlanta Humane Society. Influenced by her time spent with animals at the Atlanta Humane Society, Sonya recently adopted a boxer mix puppy named Lola.
