The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the South Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., March 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In the South Region, Siegfried is excited about Leah Adamafio, Pranita Fernandes, Michael Hubbard, and Shannon Poole joining the Firm.

Leah Adamafio

Leah joins the Washington, DC market as a Senior Associate.  She comes to Siegfried from Mitchell & Titus where she gained over three years of experience in public accounting.  She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Howard University.  

Leah adds value to her clients through her bright optimism and pragmatic execution. According to Leah, "I am constantly seeking opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, and Siegfried is a perfect fit for that."

In her downtime Leah loves to learn and explore a variety of topics. Her latest venture has been into preventative health care through exercise and nutrition. Leah also enjoys exploring her creative side through sewing and baking.

Pranita Fernandes, CA

Pranita is a Chartered Accountant who joins the Houston Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from EY in Melbourne, Australia, where she gained four years of audit experience primarily in the mining and consumer retail industries. She has completed a double degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, and Law from Monash University.

Pranita is a confident, committed and driven individual who strives to build strong relationships with both her clients and colleagues. "My key motivation behind joining Siegfried was the chance to expand both my industry and technical knowledge through working on a variety of projects," she says.

In Pranita's spare time, she enjoys cooking and travelling. She's a trivia buff and enjoys watching shows like Jeopardy and The Chase as well as crime and drama series. While in America she plans to travel as much as possible and learn more about American sports!

Laura Michael Hubbard

Michael is an accounting professional who joins Siegfried's Atlanta market as a Manager. She joins the Firm from Carters, Inc., where she worked as a Senior Financial Analyst.  Prior to her time at Carter's, Inc, Michael gained five years of experience in the food service industry as an accountant with Chick-fil-A, Inc and five years of experience in the financial services industry as an auditor with Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of West Georgia. Michael's problem-solving abilities and love for learning new things make her an asset to any team. According to Michael, "I look forward to continuing to learn new things, broadening my accounting experience and perspective, and fostering new and existing relationships with clients and coworkers while at Siegfried. In her free time, Michael enjoys traveling and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. She is also an avid reader and writer, and earned an English minor while in college! 

Shannon Poole, CPA

Shannon is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Washington D.C. Metro market as a Manager.  She comes to Siegfried from L-3 Communications, where she gained two years of experience in internal audit and Finance. Previous to joining L-3 Communications, Shannon gained four years of audit experience at PwC, focusing primarily on private clients in the Atlanta and New York Metro offices. She received her Bachelors of Science and Masters in Accounting from the University of Georgia. "I am thrilled to be joining Siegfried because I find value in taking on new and challenging client projects," Shannon says. "I enjoy working with a variety of people and learning new skill sets from each opportunity that is presented." In her free time, Shannon enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She has visited 27 countries and plans to add a few more with her upcoming honeymoon. Shannon and her fiancé are moving to the Atlanta market in the spring and recently became homeowners.They keep busy by planning for their upcoming summer wedding!
