WILMINGTON, Del., April 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at The Lodges at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.
Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. Throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Park City, attend the Firm's Networking Naturally workshop and try their hand at skiing and other fun outdoor activities!
In the South Region, Siegfried is excited about Jeel Bhuta, James Kimball, Jennifer Mitchell, Michael Sindall and Matthew Stegmoyer joining the Firm.
Jeel Bhuta, CPA
Jeel is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Houston Market as Associate Manager. She started her career in public accounting at Deloitte, and later gained valuable industry experience at Sony Music Entertainment. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.
Jeel's ability to establish relationships, along with her unique work ethic, provides exceptional value to any client. She says, "I am looking forward to learning and experiencing engaging work at The Siegfried Group."
Jeel is a new transplant to Houston and likes to explore the city in her free time. She also loves to travel to different countries and has a goal of visiting one new country every year. Jeel is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loves to cheer on all of their teams, especially the Eagles!
James Kimball, CPA
James is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Charlotte Market as an Associate Director. He comes to Siegfried after gaining seven years of experience with a variety of companies such as Playboy, Morton's Restaurant Group, Caesar's Entertainment, Wynn Resorts and Wyndham Worldwide. He also spent four years as a senior associate at KPMG in Charlotte with a primary focus in the financial services industry. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration and his Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
James brings an energizing presence throughout his engagements and completes all of his projects with creativity, leadership and an outstanding, upbeat attitude. James says "My desire to explore new avenues allows me to be creative and flexible when providing solutions to the most challenging issues".
In his free time, James seeks to travel the country and find places that he has never been. He's an avid Carolina supporter and loves to travel back to his alma mater for weekends in between his travels elsewhere. He also enjoys attending music festivals such as Bonaroo!
Jen is an accounting professional who joins the Washington, D.C. Market as an Associate Manager. She started her career in public accounting at Deloitte, and later got valuable industry experience at Hanger Orthopedic Group and New York University. Jen received her Bachelor's in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland.
Jen looks forward to continuing to gain valuable experiences with The Siegfried Group. "I am looking forward to learning and growing my skillset with the interesting and challenging projects that Siegfried provides," she says.
In her free time, Jen enjoys taking in all that D.C. has to offer with friends, playing in social sports leagues and cooking. She cheers on all D.C. sports teams, especially her beloved Redskins. An avid runner, she is frequently found running around the city or participating in races!
Michael Sindall, CPA
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Washington, D.C. Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from McGladrey, where he gained over five years of audit experience. He received a BS in Accounting and a BS in Economics from University of Maryland.
Mike's resourcefulness and problem-solving skills make him an asset to any team. According to Mike, "I am looking forward to taking on new challenges and working with Siegfried's diverse group of clients!"
In his free time, Mike likes to stay active by both working out regularly and playing recreational sports. He is also a craft beer aficionado, and likes to travel with friends to craft beer events and festivals across the country.
Matthew Stegmoyer, CPA
Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Houston Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried with over twelve years of corporate industry and public experience, including SEC reporting and controllership responsibility. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from John Carroll University and his Masters in Accounting from Cleveland State University.
Matthew says, "What drew me to The Siegfried Group was the opportunity to expand my accounting knowledge by leveraging my past experiences, all the while working with a highly motivated, like-minded group of individuals."
When not working, Matthew stays active trying to keep up with his small children. Also, being new to Houston, he and his family spend a lot of time out and about in the area, as well as vacationing in the Outer Banks. Matthew is a devoted Cleveland sports fan and received his 15 minutes of fame when he was one featured on an episode of 20/20!
