The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the South Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Four Seasons' Swann Lounge, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas including Jasmine at the Bellagio, Top of the World and Charlie Palmer's Steak. At the end of Orientation, the new professionals also had the chance to attend Siegfried's fifth MY Journey™ event focused on the topic of building mastery in "Confidence."

In the South Region, Siegfried is excited about Ryan Boward, Melanie Hope, Teri Lauzon, Nick Leone, Tricia Roddy and Vehano Joseph joining the Firm.

Ryan Boward, CPA

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Charlotte Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Time Warner Cable, where he gained four years of industry experience working mainly in programming. Prior to Time Warner Cable, Ryan spent three years with EY. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management and his Masters in Accounting from North Carolina State University.

Ryan's calm yet persistent drive for success, coupled with his love of working with and learning from new people, make him a valuable part of any team. Ryan says, "The opportunity to be pushed on a daily basis and gain experience in multiple facets of finance and accounting across multiple industries, is what drew me to Siegfried."

In his free time, Ryan first and foremost enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.  He is a big car fan and loves maintaining, driving and working on his car when time allows. Ryan also likes the outdoors, especially a day out on the golf course with close friends. 

Melanie Hope

Melanie is an enthusiastic professional who joins the Houston Market as an Associate Manager.  Prior to joining the Firm, she gained valuable industry experience at Phillips 66 and worked with KPMG, focusing primarily on the energy industry. Melanie received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.

Melanie is a goal-oriented professional who is able to adapt quickly to changing environments and create a positive team atmosphere through her high level of energy and attention to detail.  She says, "I enjoy the challenge of providing exceptional client service, combined with the wide variety of project opportunities that are offered by Siegfried."

Growing up the daughter of a petroleum engineer, Melanie attended high school on three different continents and is still passionate about traveling and meeting new people. When she is not at work, she stays active with her family cooking, gardening, running and listening to music. She is currently training for her next half marathon in the fall!

Teri Lauzon, CPA

Teri is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Manager. She comes to Siegfried from over six years in the private industry and her public background with KPMG, where she gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the restaurant and construction industries. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Teri's varied skillset and out of box approach to solving problems, coupled with her ability to develop strong relationships in any situation, make her a valued player in the workplace. Teri says, "The opportunity to try new and challenging projects while growing my skills and discovering hidden talents, is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In her free time, Teri likes to stay active through trying out new forms of exercise, such as mixed martial arts. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and lounging in the sun, especially when sailing in the Pacific Ocean. Her experience living in Yokohama, Japan opened her eyes to the world of international cuisine, and she usually be found exploring the local culinary scene wherever her travels take her!

Nick Leone, CPA

Nick is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Charlotte Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Time Warner Cable, and has also previously worked with KPMG. Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from The Citadel while earning Magna Cum Laude and Beta Gamma Sigma honors.

Nick's exceptional organizational and communication skills, coupled with his continuous self-evaluation and improvement, allow him to meet a standard of excellence that results in his clients achieving their ultimate goals. Nick says, "I look forward to the challenging work and opportunities that Siegfried will provide me."

In his free time, Nick enjoys traveling to new places with his wife. He is also an avid golfer who enjoys teeing off with his friends and colleagues.  

Tricia Roddy

Tricia is an exceptional professional who joins the Washington D.C. Market as a Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Parker Hannafin, where she worked in various accounting roles around the world, and has also previously worked with Deloitte. Tricia received her Bachelors in Accounting and Business Management from John Carroll University.

Tricia has an approachable style and innate ability to connect with people, which inspires and motivates her teams to achieve ambitious goals. Her positive attitude, confidence and commitment to her clients, enable her to continually exceed high expectations. She says, "The opportunity to experience a wide-range of interesting projects, to assist clients while adding real value and the chance to be part of a unique business model is why I joined Siegfried."

In her free time, Tricia stays active through running and yoga. She is a devoted Cleveland fan and loves NFL Football. She loves to travel and has traveled all over the world for both work and fun. Tricia also enjoys baking and cooking, reading and doing anything adventurous such as, sky diving, scuba diving and hiking.

Vehano Joseph, CA

Vehano is a Chartered Accountant from South Africa who joins the South Florida Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Grant Thornton South Africa and US, where he gained seven years of audit experience with a primary focus in the areas of Real Estate Investment Trusts and Construction. He received his Bachelors in accounting from the University of the Western Cape and his Honors in accounting from the University of South Africa.

Vehano's exceptional analytic ability allows him to quickly understand subject matter and develop a concise approach to achieve the set targets. He says, "Getting a variety of different and challenging projects is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his leisure time, Vehano is an avid rugby supporter, and enjoys staying active through fishing and kayaking. He also recently developed an interest in golfing, and looks forward to experiencing the multitude of beautiful golf courses that South Florida has to offer!
