The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the West Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia.

In Siegfried's West region, the Firm is excited about Amir Arani, Jessica Dawson and Erin Yueh joining the team.

Amir Arani, CA, CPA

Amir is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant who joins the San Jose Market as an Associate Manager. He joins Siegfried from PwC, where he gained over four years of audit experience and spent six months doing a rotation with the learning and development group with PwC instructing across Canada. He received his BS in Commerce with a minor in music from the University of Victoria.

Amir's drive to always take on a challenge, learn new things, and make a difference in any given environment is what makes him a great fit for Siegfried's entrepreneurial spirit. "When I came to a point in my career where I was looking for a new challenge, I immediately knew where to turn to," Amir says. "The opportunity Siegfried offers to work on multiple different projects, and in a variety of different positions, greatly appealed to me."

Amir likes to stay active in his free time by playing soccer, tennis and golf. He also enjoys volunteering, spending his time as a CPA mentor in Canada and with the TED Talks organization on an annual basis. Amir is involved with the CA Community Connect, a non-profit organization which aids Canadians of all ages in making smarter decisions with their finances in the short and long term.

Jessica Dawson, CPA

Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried's Denver market as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Siegfried, she worked at Grant Thornton where she gained three years of audit experience in various industries including restaurants & hospitality, energy, and financial services. Subsequently, she spent two years as a Senior Accountant at a privately-held mortgage servicing company in Denver. She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

Jessica looks forward to exciting new opportunities with The Siegfried Group. She says, "I joined Siegfried due to the Firm's unique culture, challenging and diverse projects and the unlimited possibilities for professional growth."

In her leisure time, Jessica likes to stay active by doing yoga. She also enjoys taking advantage of the beautiful Colorado scenery by hiking and skiing in Colorado's numerous mountain ranges, and takes opportunities to be active in the local community whenever possible.

Erin Yueh, CPA

Erin is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Denver Market as a Senior Associate.  She comes to Siegfried from Grant Thornton, where she gained nearly five years of financial statement audit experience in addition to her prior three years of compliance auditing experience with the Department of Defense.  Erin earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver.

According to Erin, "The variety of interesting and challenging work was initially what drew me to Siegfried, but it was the culture that confirmed my decision to join."

In her spare time, Erin enjoys staying active with snowboarding, martial arts, and various dance styles, particularly Brazilian Samba. While living in New Zealand on an overseas assignment for 18 months, Erin and her husband explored new thrilling activities such as skydiving and bungee jumping.
