The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the West Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., March 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In the West Region, Siegfried is excited about Joshua Grammer, Eric Helms, Jacob Safarik and Kyle Schuna joining the Firm.

Josh Grammer 

Josh joins the Los Angeles Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from The Coca-Cola Company's corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA, where he gained three and a half years of internal audit experience ranging from corporate functions to field manufacturing. Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company Josh worked for EY. He received a Bachelor's of Science and a Masters in Accounting from The University of Alabama.

Josh's strong leadership skills and inquisitive nature make him an asset to his clients. According to Josh, "Gaining quantifiable industry experience in a rage of different environments is why I wanted to join the Firm. Siegfried takes the best of accounting, working with new people in various industries on different projects, and adds the opportunity to gain industry experience that I couldn't get in an internal or external audit role."

In his spare time, Josh is an avid traveler and enjoys exploring new places. As a recent transplant to California, he spends his free time exploring all the area has to offer and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Eric Helms, CPA

Eric is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the San Francisco Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the retail and manufacturing industry. He received his Bachelors in Economics with a minor in Accounting from the University of California, Irvine where he was a Regents Scholar and participated in the Honors Economics Program.

Eric's excellent problem solving skills, coupled with his desire to deliver excellent client service makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. Eric says, "The innovative business model, highly skilled and dedicated professionals, and the opportunity to gain experience on new client projects is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Eric enjoys sports, spending time with friends, and travel. He recently returned from a trip to Europe, and plans to go to South America for his next vacation. He looks forward to continuing to explore new cities wherever his work travels take him!

Jacob Safarik, CA

Jake is a Chartered Accountant who joins the San Francisco Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Smythe Ratcliffe LLP, where he gained over five years of audit experience, including a one-year secondment with their international affiliate in Vienna, Austria. Jake received his Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting with minors in Finance and Entrepreneurship from McGill University.

Jake plans to leverage his work ethic, communication skills and problem-solving abilities to be a strong contributor to his clients. "The opportunity to be exposed to a new portfolio of projects and clients is what drew me to Siegfried," he says.

In his free time, Jake likes to stay active and can be found playing ice-hockey and snowboarding in the winter or hiking and surfing in the summer. Jake is also an avid traveler and lacrosse fan, having played competitively both during and after his time at University.

Kyle Schuna, CPA

Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Denver Market as Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services and real estate industry. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.

Kyle's drive to take on challenges, learn new things, and make a difference in any given environment is what makes him a great fit for The Siegfried Group. "The opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and engagements with people that share the same passion for learning and commitment to client service excellence is what drove me to Siegfried," Kyle says.

In his free time, Kyle stays active through sports and travel. He recently spent three weeks traveling six of the seven countries in Central America and hopes to cross South America off his bucket list in the near future. As a new transplant to Colorado, Kyle plans on spending a lot of his free time hiking and snowboarding in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
