WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.
Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at Hotel Monaco and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including El Vez and Buddakan.
The Siegfried Group is excited about Kristin Duncan and Alyssa Schaffer joining the Firm.
Kristin joins the Siegfried Operations Team as DX & Sales Training Coordinator. Kristin started her professional career in New York City for Verizon and stayed with that organization for 15 years as she gained a versatile skill set in Sales, Training, Marketing and Client Relationship Management. Kristin attended The University of Delaware where she received her Bachelors of Arts.
Kristin is very excited to work with closely with Sales Operations Leadership and our CEO to coordinate and document our sales trainings with special emphasis on ensuring continued success of our Director-Explore Program. She resides in Wilmington, DE with her husband and three children. In her spare time, Kristin and her family enjoy endless activities outdoors, traveling and entertaining with friends.
Alyssa joins the Siegfried Operations Team as an Event Planner. She comes to Siegfried from the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure where she spent a year planning educational and fundraising events for the organization. Prior to that, she worked at MD Events for four years planning meetings and events for pharmaceutical companies. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations with minors in Business and International Studies from Pennsylvania State University.
Alyssa's adaptability and strong work ethic coupled with her desire to promote a positive working environment for the team makes her an asset in the workplace. Alyssa says, "My aspiration to work in a corporate arena and fast-paced atmosphere alongside committed and intelligent people is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking care of her rescued cat. She also enjoys exploring Philadelphia's historic sites and fantastic restaurant scene. She is an avid and passionate traveler who is always in the midst of planning her next trip.
