The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Boston and Philadelphia Metro Markets for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, California. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Ritz Carlton's Upper Pool Terrace and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including La Vecchia Cucina and Cast & Plow.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Michael Amodio, Michael Crnkovich, Laura Cronin, Allie Schaab and Jaclyn Zimmers joining the Firm.

Michael Amodio, CPA

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Boston Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services asset management industry. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Michael's entrepreneurial attitude allows him to tackle new projects with a fresh perspective. He brings high energy, experience and a clever perspective to his work, which make him an invaluable part of any team. He states, "I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to expand my accounting background with the experiences offered by The Siegfried Group's diverse client base."

In his free time, Michael enjoys staying active by exploring the plentiful activities available in the Boston area. He is a big fan of the many historical sites in his new hometown and the unique cultural events accessible in the city. He has become a big Boston sports fan and can often be found at Fenway in the summer. Michael looks forward to taking some time to travel outside the country in the near future, with Europe being a top destination in mind.

Michael Crnkovich, CPA

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where he gained six years of audit experience with a primary focus in the insurance industry. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Michael's clever approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to bring out the best in his team, make him a distinctive player in the workplace. Michael says, "I wanted to join The Siegfried Group because I am excited about the challenge of varied new projects while working alongside excellent professionals."

In his free time, Michael stays active through cycling and travel. He also enjoys golf and classical guitar, when time allows. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.  

Laura Cronin, CPA

Laura is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from Grant Thornton, where she worked as a Senior Associate in the Audit practice with a primary focus in the energy industry. She received her Bachelors of Science in Management with a major in Finance and minors in French and Legal Studies in Business and her Masters of Accounting from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

Laura enjoys finding unique solutions to problems, which provide for more streamlined processes in the future. Laura says, "I enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and adapting to new situations which is why I joined Siegfried."

In her free time, Laura loves traveling and has a goal to make it to all seven continents before she is 35.  She is already well underway on this undertaking and has been to four continents thus far, including living in Paris for six months, and most recently hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. Laura also enjoys photography and trying new foods. One of her favorite indulgences is traveling back to New Orleans to eat the local Cajun cuisine. She plans to continue exploring new cultures and horizons wherever life and work take her.

Allie Schaab, CPA

Allie is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Siegfried, Allie gained over four years of audit experience in her positions with PwC and Zook Dinon. Allie received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Bryant University and her Masters of Accountancy from Villanova University.

Allie has a dedicated work ethic and consistently brings enthusiasm and positivity to her teams. Her natural ability to understand and empathize with various perspectives enables her to adapt quickly and to provide valuable insight in situations requiring problem solving.

Allie enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. While she likes to travel and explore new places, she loves calling Philadelphia home. She is a loyal supporter of the Eagles, Flyers and Phillies (which she admits, can sometimes be a little heartbreaking) and stays active on her own as a regular at the gym, in the pool or outdoors, when possible.

Jaclyn Zimmers, CPA

Jaclyn is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as a Manager. She comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where she gained six years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services industry. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.

Jaclyn possesses the ability to work collaboratively, always motivating and challenging her teams to achieve excellence. She says, "The challenge of working on new client projects alongside innovative, intelligent people is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys traveling. She enjoys seeing new places, whether it's relaxing on the beaches of Mexico or exploring the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. She has traveled to 19 countries and plans to continue traveling while beginning her career with Siegfried.
