The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Central Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, California. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Ritz Carlton's Marina Del Rey Upper Pool Terrace, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Cast & Plow and The Chart House.

In the Central Region, Siegfried is excited about Josh Balsman, Lindsay Bearden and Ariella Fleckner joining the Firm.

Josh Balsman

Josh joins the Chicago Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where he gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the professional services industry. He received his BS in Accounting and his Masters in Accounting from Illinois State University.

Josh prides himself on delivering the highest quality work on each of his projects. He is able to quickly integrate into any environment and produce exceptional results thanks to his dedicated collaboration. Josh says, "I wanted to join Siegfried for the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects with intelligent and talented people."

In his free time, Josh enjoys traveling as well as attending different sporting events. He's an avid Chicago Cubs fan and attends games regularly throughout the year. He also enjoys traveling to attend different music festivals across the country and tries to stay active by playing in a summer basketball league.

Lindsay Bearden

Lindsay is an accounting Professional who joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from UHY, where she gained two years of audit experience in multiple industries. In addition to her background in auditing, Lindsay taught high school accounting for five years in St. Clair Shores, MI. She received her Master's in Accounting from Wayne State University. 

Lindsay has an adaptive ability to quickly integrate into any team environment and uses her excellent communication skills to help form and maintain a cohesive connections with her clients.  Lindsay says, "The opportunity to work on a diverse set of clients and enhance my accounting background, in addition to working with an elite set of professionals, is what led me to Siegfried."  

In her free time, Lindsay enjoys running, boating, reading fiction novels and spending time with her friends and family.  

Ariela Fleckner, CPA

Ariela is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Philadelphia Metro Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Cantor Fitzgerald in New York City, where she gained three years of corporate accounting experience. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald she worked at KPMG as a Senior Associate where she spent two and a half years in audit where she worked with both public and private companies in the power, utilities and manufacturing industries. She received her BS in Accounting from Lehigh University.

Ariela's enthusiastic and committed approach to problem-solving, combined with her inclusive workplace attitude and ability to form strong connections with her colleagues makes Ariela an asset to any team. Ariela's genuine passion for improving efficiencies and personable demeanor enable her to motivate her teams to success and add immense value to every project. She says, "I look forward to utilizing my Passionate Problem-Solving while at Siegfried in order to truly assist clients facing complex problems." 

In her free time, Ariela enjoys spending time with her husband as well as her family and friends. She also likes staying active through exercise and travel and she hopes to start playing tennis again as she played on the Lehigh University Women's Tennis Team. In addition, she loves to cook and bake during her free time and often challenges herself to successfully preparing new dishes and baking various desserts (for example the Cronut).
