The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Central Region for New Hire Orientation

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception hosted at Three Dots and a Dash where everyone enjoyed their favorite tiki drinks. They also experienced lovely dinners at places like Gibson's Bar & Steakhouse, as well as Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Alex Appianing, Eric Bukovec and Lynnie Hickey-Mehic joining the Firm.

Alex Appianing, Jr.
Alex joins the Philadelphia Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to The Siegfried Group from Deloitte in Philadelphia, where he gained two and half years of audit experience primarily within the manufacturing industry. He received his BS in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems, and Masters of Accountancy from Temple University. 

Alex's nature of purposeful leadership allows him to add value with a broader perspective in mind as it relates to ultimately leading from the front, developing people and fostering fruitful relationships. Alex says, "I chose to be a part of the Siegfried team primarily because of the breadth and variety of experiences that I will gain. I also came to realize that this is an organization that is aligned with my professional values of developing and equipping leaders to make a difference in their lives as well as society."

In his free time, Alex enjoys volunteering within his local community and currently serves as a volunteer with one of Youth Service Inc.'s programs: Youth Emergency Services. Apart from being a big fan of the TV show Suits, he further enjoys riding his bicycle during the summer period and spending time with his family and friends. 

Eric Bukovec, CPA
Eric is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Cleveland Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Crowe Horwath, LLP and Ciuni & Panichi, Inc., where he gained six years of audit experience in a variety of industries. He received his BS in Accounting from Ohio University.

Eric's enthusiastic and relentless personality makes him a valued team member who is fully engaged in his work to ensure he delivers superior results. He enjoys using his mental agility and analytical skills, while collaborating with clients to work on challenging projects. Eric says, "The opportunity to take on challenging projects, while having exposure to high profile clients and the potential to advance my career as a CPA, was why I joined Siegfried."

In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a huge fan of Cleveland sports teams and loves going to games, especially for the tailgates. He also enjoys golfing, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities during the summer and fall months. He is looking forward to taking advantage of the summer weather in Northeast Ohio.

Lynnie Hickey-Mehic, CPA
Lynnie is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Chicago Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Walton Street Capital, where her concentration was on financial reporting and analysis within the real estate investment industry. Previously, she worked with KPMG in Louisville, Kentucky and Chicago, Illinois with a primary focus in the commercial products industry. She received a BS in Biology from the University of Louisville and an Accounting Certificate and Masters of Business Administration from Bellarmine University.

Lynnie's warm and open attitude enables a sense of team while her confidence allows her to maintain focus and deliver results. Her efficient and resourceful workstyle allows her to acclimate to varying environments seamlessly and quickly produce quality deliverables. Lynnie says "I am so excited to join the Siegfried team and am most looking forward to the consistent challenge presented by such a wide variety of meaningful work."

Beyond work, Lynnie enjoys staying involved with her community through her positions with the Chicago Foundation for Women and the Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board. She lives for time spent outdoors, whether it is something as simple as a day spent at one of Chicago's gorgeous beaches or something more elaborate such as when she hiked to Machu Picchu last fall. Additionally, she can frequently be found exploring various museums and cultural sites with her husband and toddler son.
