The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Northeast Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Renaissance Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Renaissance Hotel's Mt. Washington Room, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Azumi and Oceanaire.

In the Northeast Region, Siegfried is excited about Nancy McKenna and James Yang joining the Firm.

Nancy McKenna, CPA

Nancy is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Boston Market as an Associate Director. After graduating from Northeastern University with a degree in both Accounting and Management, Nancy started her career at KMPG. After leaving KPMG she work for a number of KPMG clients until attending graduate school on a full time basis. Nancy earned a Master of Finance degree from Bentley University graduating at the top of her master's program. Shortly thereafter Nancy worked on a major project for a global telecommunications company who had to reconstruct four years of financial transactions as a prerequisite to emergence from bankruptcy. It was this engagement that sparked Nancy's interest in project work. Nancy also worked for an assurance, risk management and compliance advisory services organization as well as passed the PMP exam prior to joining The Siegfried Group.

Nancy's focus on quality, productivity and results has earned her a reputation as a true professional. "I am looking forward to applying the knowledge I have gained on past engagements to the new clients and new industries offered through working with Siegfried."

James Yang, CPA, CA

James Yang is a Chartered Professional Accountant who joins Siegfried New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Siegfried, James spent four years at KPMG Vancouver where he provided assurance services to public and private financial services and real estate clients. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a Diploma in Accounting from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He was a youth mentor at KidStart, Chair of the Finance Committee as well as a member of the West Point Grey Community Association Board of Directors in Vancouver.

James is very excited to join the Firm as he says, "The prospect of travelling around the U.S. to work with clients who are leaders in their respective industry, while expanding my professional and personal network, is a synergistic combination for a professional."

In his free time, James likes to stay active through sports and travel. He's an avid road cyclist and completed his first 125+ mile ride from Vancouver to Seattle in August. This past summer, James' passion for travelling brought him to Europe where he visited eleven countries in just 51 days.
