The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Northeast Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Feb. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at The Logan Hotel's Commons Lounge and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including City Tap House and Fogo de Chao.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Greg Confer, Richard Kelly, Kimberly Larsen, Colin Moriarty and Tatian Solis joining the Firm.

Greg Confer
Greg joins the Boston Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained four years of audit experience focusing primarily in the commercial and biotech industries. Greg received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Plymouth State University and his MBA and Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University.

Greg's problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, together with his ability to clearly communicate his ideas drives value and innovation in the workplace. Greg says, "The opportunity to bring my technical skills gained in public accounting to our clients in order to drive their success and help them solve important problems is why I chose to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Greg continues to pursue a lifelong passion for music. He plays multiple instruments and loves to attend live music venues. Greg often compares making music to the business world as a group can only perform at the highest level when many talented individuals can work together to become a group whose performance far exceeds the talent of any one of its individual parts.

Richard Kelly
Rich joins the New York Metro Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Everyday Health, where he gained experience as a Senior Accountant primarily responsible for revenue recognition. Prior to Everyday Health he worked at Deloitte where he gained three years of audit experience working in various industries. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Fordham University.

His strength lies in his ability to effectively interact with colleagues and clients. His commitment and attention to detail allow him to identify and resolve complex issues as well as develop solutions. Rich says, "The opportunity to work on various projects in various industries is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his spare time, Rich enjoys traveling and watching his favorite sports teams. He is an avid sports fan. He is a New York Yankees fan and enjoys attending games whenever he has the chance. 

Kimberly Larsen, MSA, MBA
Kimberly is an exceptional professional who joins the Boston Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from PwC, where she gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services sector. She received her Bachelors in Economics with an emphasis in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Masters in Accounting and MBA from Northeastern University.

Kimberly prides herself on her dedication to her clients and always brings a positive approach to her work. Her enthusiasm, rapport and unique ability to effectively and efficiently solve complex problems, allows her teams to achieve quality results. Kimberly says, "I saw Siegfried as an inspiring workplace where I can grow and take on challenging projects that not only develop my skills, but also make a difference in our clients' lives."

In her free time, Kimberly enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family and traveling. She has maintained close relationships with her college friends and tries to visit Colorado at least once a year, where she enjoys skiing in the winter and taking hikes in the summer. Kimberly is also an avid football fan and supports her CU Buffaloes as well as her home team, the New England Patriots.

Colin Moriarty, CPA
Colin is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the New York Market as a Senior Associate. Colin comes to Siegfried from BDO, where he gained two years of audit experience with a focus on the distribution and commercial industries. Prior to this role, Colin received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Bentley University and his Masters of Science in Accounting from Queens College.

Colin's strong work ethic and effective communication skills make him a valued member to any team. He embraces new challenges and uses these as a learning experience to further his growth and development. Colin says, "The opportunity to take on different types of roles with a diverse client base is very exciting and is the reason why I joined The Siegfried Group."

In his free time, Colin enjoys spending time with family and friends in addition to travelling and watching sports. He enjoys exploring the many activities and attractions that New York City has of offer. In addition, he is an avid New York Giants fan who hopes to continue expanding his travelling experiences both domestically and internationally. 

Tatian Solis
Tatian joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained three years of audit experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. He received his Bachelors in Accounting and his Certification in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.

Tatian's determination and results-oriented accountability allows him to deliver quality work and exceed client's expectations. He says, "I joined The Siegfried Group due to their appealing business model which allows individuals to experience different opportunities over a short period of time."

In his free time, Tatian like weightlifting and playing basketball. He also enjoys traveling and has been to Canada, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. He plans to go on a cruise for his next vacation to continue seeing the world. He also enjoys different cuisines and is excited to try the local foods of wherever work takes him.
