The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the West Region for New Hire Orientation

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at The Prime Steak House and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Powder at the Waldorf Astoria and took the funicular up the mountain to J & G Grill. The group rounded out the week with a bowling event at Jupiter Bowl and some of those who were skiers got a chance to hit the slopes.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Melissa Bautista, Lindsay Gordon and Parekh Mithun joining the Firm.

Melissa Bautista, CPA
Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Los Angeles Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from PwC Miami and San Diego, where she gained audit experience primarily in the cruise line, aerospace and defense industries. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and her Masters in Accounting from Florida International University.

Melissa's project management skills and commitment to efficiently meet deadlines, highlight her devoted work-ethic to deliver quality work that exceeds expectations. She wanted to join the Firm because of the opportunities to work on a variety of projects in different industries as well as to work with other hard-working professionals.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys exploring LA and trying new restaurants. She also loves traveling back home to Knoxville and Florida whenever she can. Melissa enjoys going to comedy shows for a good laugh, as well.  

Lindsay Gordon, CPA
Lindsay is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried as an Associate Manager in the Denver Market. She comes to Siegfried from a regional public accounting firm, EKS&H. Prior to that, Lindsay had corporate accounting experience in the hospitality industry, as well as some years of audit experience at Grant Thornton. Lindsay received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and MS in Finance from the University of Denver.

Lindsay embraces work with enthusiasm, energy and her out-of-the-box approaches. When faced with a new challenge, she is driven to collaboratively brainstorm until fresh and agreed-upon solutions are derived. Once that strategy is placed into motion, Lindsay works well with teams to achieve any objective. She says, "I am determined to turn unique ideas into an exceptional deliverable, and am excited to have these types of opportunities here at The Siegfried Group."

In her free time, Lindsay is likely to be found outdoors - on the ski slopes during winter or on her road bike in the summertime. Just recently, she completed her first sprint-triathlon and is hoping to complete another in this upcoming summer. Lindsay is also an active DU alum that regularly attends networking events as well as participates in mentorship programs for young accountants. 

Mithun Parekh
Mithun joins the San Francisco Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Orlando, Florida where he worked as a precious metals and numismatic coin trader. Prior to that, he held a financial reporting role at 19 Entertainment in Los Angeles and was a Senior Auditor at KPMG Orange County for over three years. Here he gained exposure to industries such as banking, travel and non-profits. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds, England.

Mithun's ability to work in a variety of industries and his dedication to maintaining a positive work environment, make him a valued member of any team. Mithun says, "Having the opportunity to work in a variety of roles with smart, driven and like-minded people is what drew me to Siegfried the most. I am excited to be able to grow both personally and professionally here, but also watch my peers do the same."

Outside of work, Mithun is a keen follower of English soccer; occasionally waking up at 5am to watch Arsenal play on the weekends. Having recently moved to San Francisco, he is also excited to be able to attend more live music events, particularly artists and DJs from Europe that tour through town. Overall, he is enthused about the new challenges that will present themselves in his new environment and plans to take full advantage of the opportunities which arise.
