The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Team Leaders

A Siegfried Team Leader supports a group of Professional Resources in his or her Market, helping them clarify their goals, and confirming that these goals are aligned with Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives. As experienced employees, Team Leaders demonstrate how Siegfried helps Professional Resources achieve their bigger future, as well as their personal and professional success.

Siegfried congratulates Brian King, Suné Pieterse, Frank Reiman, Anli Serfontein and Britt Villa on their new Team Leader roles.

Brian King, CPA, Senior Manager, Team Leader – Boston
Brian, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2011 as a Professional Resource after spending three very busy "busy seasons" as a Senior Accountant at EY and more than a year at a nonprofit hospital.

Brian attended the University of Massachusetts, earning both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Accountancy degrees. With an outgoing personality and a strong work ethic, Brian seamlessly transitions into new roles and consistently exceeds expectations. He is a confident team player who instills trust in those around him.

"I wanted to be a Team Leader because I knew it was an opportunity to challenge my personal and professional development while encouraging my team members to really embrace Siegfried's values and practices," he said.

When he isn't traveling, either for his clients or on his own, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Hiking, golfing, and snowboarding are just a few of his preferred outdoor activities, and other interests include attending Boston Bruins games, watching movies, discovering new music and playing cards.

Suné Pieterse, CPA, CA, Senior Manager, Team Leader – Boston
Suné, a Certified Public Accountant and a Charted Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2014 as a Professional Resource. Before that, she worked as a Manager for CBIZ Tofias and as an Audit Senior with BKR Logista in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

She earned her Bachelor of Accounting and her Honors Degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch. Suné always goes the extra mile to deliver rational and purposeful solutions. She is a trustworthy individual with strong chemistry and communication skills, who works closely with her teams towards a common goal. Suné is known for her positive attitude, unwavering commitment and attention to detail that demonstrates her natural leadership abilities.

"In my role as a Team Leader, I'm most excited about fostering meaningful relationships. I'm also looking forward to sharing my experiences with my team and getting exposure to different points of view. Ultimately, I would like to work with my team in such a way that they enjoy and maximize their opportunities at Siegfried."

Originally from South Africa, Suné can't pass up a good South African braai (barbeque) with friends or a good bottle of wine. She also enjoys traveling and baking.

Frank Reiman, CPA, Associate Manager, Team Leader – Boston
Frank, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2015 as an Associate Manager after spending four busy seasons at PwC in Asset Management.

Originally from Long Island, Frank moved to Boston, where he attended Bentley University, majoring in Corporate Finance and Accounting. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from Bentley University with concentrations in Accounting & Business Ethics and Corporate Responsibility.

"Being a Team Leader is an excellent opportunity to take my professional development to the next level and instill inspiration in those around me. The abundance of development opportunities, including the Team Leader role, is one of the many reasons Siegfried is an amazing place to work," he said.

Frank enjoys the outdoors and surrounding himself with friends and family. Although he considers Boston his home, he is an avid New York sports fan, rooting for the Giants, Mets and Rangers. He stays active by participating in hockey and softball leagues in the Greater Boston area. And even though he enjoys the Northeast's four seasons and city living, he looks forward to weekend getaways to visit his family in Florida, especially during the winter months. Other interests include barbecuing, ethnic cuisines, TV and movies, non-fiction literature, American history and golf.

Anli Serfontein, CPA, Senior Manager, Team Leader – Boston
Anli, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource. Prior to that, Anli worked at CBIZ Tofias, where she was a Manager in the commercial, nonprofit and employee benefit plan practices. She also worked as an audit associate at two smaller firms in South Africa before making Boston her home.

Anli graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg. Anli joined Siegfried to be part of an organization that values clients, employees and itself in equal measure and to work on challenging engagements within the finance and accounting industry while still being in a client-facing environment.

"Becoming a Team Leader gives me the chance to build stronger relationships with the Professional Resources in my Market and share my knowledge and experience with them. I also get to educate them about Siegfried initiatives and practices while reinforcing why I have found Siegfried to be such an inspiring place to work."

Anli loves traveling and discovering new places to visit—especially if the trip includes good food and a vineyard or two! She still has a lot of places to visit in the U.S., but her most recent trip took her to Savannah, Georgia and the Carolinas.

Britt Villa, CPA, Senior Associate, Team Leader – Philadelphia Metro
Britt, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource. Before that, she was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte. After three "busy seasons" there, she was ready to move on and found Siegfried's rotational project-based business model captivating.

Britt earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration degrees from Philadelphia University.

"I am excited to be a Team Leader because it is a great chance to challenge my leadership capabilities, while working with Professional Resources to ensure that they are having the best possible experience during their career with Siegfried. A passion of mine has always been helping people and I see this role as a great way for me to help our Professional Resources!"

In college, Britt played tennis, breaking into the Division II lineup her freshman year. Later, as she studied for her MBA and her CPA, she served as the team's Assistant Coach. When she isn't working, Britt runs on Kelly Drive, plays tennis and makes sure she's on top of recent fashion trends.
