The Signorelli Company Breaks Ground on Valley Ranch Town Center

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Signorelli Company recently joined with directors of the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) and its President/CEO, Frank McCrady, County Judge Craig Doyal, Commissioner Jim Clark, former Commissioner Ed Rinehart and other local officials to break ground for Valley Ranch Town Center, a new 240-acre retail district slated to open in early 2016 inside the 1,400-acre master-planned community of Valley Ranch. Valley Ranch is ideally situated at the intersection of US 59 and the Grand Parkway just north of Kingwood.

"Valley Ranch Town Center is planned to include 1.8 million square feet of retail, encompassing everything from a Kroger Marketplace to a large Sam's Club, boutique stores, a wide variety of restaurants, banks, fitness facilities and an entertainment district," said Danny Signorelli, President and CEO of The Signorelli Company. "In addition to New Caney ISD's 8,500-seat Texan Drive Stadium that opened in September, 2014, plans for the entertainment district include a multi-attraction cinema and a 10,000-seat amphitheater. Other developments in Valley Ranch include construction of new homes in a variety of price ranges in the new Azalea District, along with several new parks and greenspaces throughout the wooded community. At final completion, Valley Ranch is planned to include approximately 2,500 homes and townhomes and 1,000 multi-family residences.

Valley Ranch Commerce District, a 70-acre corporate office park, and Valley Ranch Medical District, planned to include two acute-care hospitals and a medical village with shopping, dining and multi-family residential, are also slated for development in the near future.

Valley Ranch is strategically located within minutes of Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston's Central Business District, The Galleria/Uptown, The Woodlands, and minutes from ExxonMobil's new 385-acre campus in Spring – making it one of the closest commutes of all of the recently announced master-planned communities.
