The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maui Features Noted Expert, Dr. Arthur Harvey; Revealing Music's Role in Reducing Stress and Improving Healthful Living

MAUI, Hawaii, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted music therapist and educator Dr. Arthur Harvey will be the featured guest in a new Wellness Series, presented by The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the weekend of September 16-19, 2010.  Internationally-known as an authority in both educational and therapeutic applications of music, he will discuss and demonstrate how music can reduce stress and serve as an effective healing tool.      

During the weekend, the resort will recognize and honor the child and family-centered "Autism Bridges Maui" organization for their 15 dedicated years of reaching out to local families who have children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  The special event will take place Friday, September 17, with reception from 4 to 5 p.m. in the ballroom foyer and presentation from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Wailea Room, Four Seasons Resort Maui.  The donation is $45 per person for the reception and the talk, and all proceeds will help provide funds for the organization.  

Dr. Harvey also will offer intensive and experiential one-on-one optional private sessions in The Spa.  These individual one-on-one sessions with Dr. Harvey may be booked through the Spa for $155 per 50-minute session.  

The special four-day wellness weekends, which continue through December 19, will feature a different expert each week.  The experts are among today's top lifestyle practitioners who are mapping out new ways to influence lifelong health in such fields as holistic medicine, Reiki, Rolfing, naturopathy, energy healing, meditation, and fitness and high-performance exercise.  This series is only available at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.
