The Wild Animal Sanctuary Rated in Top 4% of All Charities for Financial Health and Transparency
KEENESBURG, Colo., March 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wild Animal Sanctuary has once again been awarded Charity Navigator's highest 4-Star rating—now for eight consecutive years.
The coveted 4-Star rating "verifies that The Wild Animal Sanctuary exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities…" said Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator in a letter to the organization.
Thatcher continues, "Only 4% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 8 consecutive 4-Star evaluations, indicating that The Wild Animal Sanctuary outperforms most other charities in America."
