Mustard Design Agency and Monsieur Notebook are launching Book Block, giving you the opportunity to create your own custom notebooks, bespoke from start to finish.
Using bookbinding techniques otherwise reserved for mass-production, the team has created a new system allowing individuals to design their own notebook covers in full colour with 2400x2400 dpi, choose their own paper, as well as their own ribbon and elastic colours. Think moo.com for notebooks!
Kickstarter.com has been chosen as a platform to bring Book Block to the wider world. We're encouraging bloggers, writers and journalists to jump on board and give our notebooks a go. For a limited time, the team behind Book Block has a limited number of free notebooks to give away, so that you can test the service and try the notebooks. Just get in touch.
Once the Kickstarter has finished, Book Block will fulfill orders, and will launch a full service for individuals from November onwards on BookBlock.com, allowing individuals, businesses and brands the opportunity to produce their own custom notebooks for their friends, clients and customers.
There will be an online uploader, and image editing software, making ordering your custom notebook a snap! Delivery is available worldwide.
This is the first time a fully customizable quality journal has been made available for the individual artist, illustrator or designer.

We chose a soft touch paper resistant to moisture, and will soon introduce different textures on larger runs.
Custom Ribbons
We've chosen the best double-satin ribbons for you to choose from in a large range of colours. You can choose the ribbon that best suits your design.
Custom Elastics
Not only can you choose your own ribbon, but you can also match the elastic to your design from our comprehensive palette.
Paper
Having teamed up with Monsieur Notebook, we will be using their paper stocks to complete the interiors of our custom covers.
