Think Cure! Appoints Joe Fay as New Executive Director

LOS ANGELES, July 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkCure!, an innovative, community-based non-profit that raises funds to accelerate collaborative research to cure cancer at City of Hope and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, announced today that it has appointed Joseph Fay as Executive Director, effective immediately.  Mr. Fay will work closely with the ThinkCure! board of directors to realize its goal to help children and adults overcome cancer.

Until last month, Joe was the Executive Director of the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation in New York. He has worked for over twenty years in the non-profit sector and held leadership positions in marketing and fundraising at the national offices of the American Red Cross, American Lung Association, and Reading Is Fundamental. He has chaired the American Marketing Association's Non-Profit Marketing Conference and taught non-profit marketing at Georgetown University. He graduated from Boston College and received an MBA from Columbia University, and he served as a U.S. Naval Officer following college.
