Third Times the Charm! Acorn Paper Products Company Issues Its 3rd Annual Holiday Challenge to Support the Los Angeles Community

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Acorn Paper Products Co. one of the largest independent paper and packaging companies in the Western United States, challenges all of its customers for a third year to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate this holiday season.

"As a business that has been family owned and operated in the Los Angeles area for over 70 years we are very connected to the community at large and feel a responsibility to give to those in need year round.  But when it comes to the holiday season we feel an extra obligation to give, and challenge our customers and extended family to do the same," states Acorn Paper Products CEO, David Weissberg. Since starting our Holiday Challenge we have donated more than 1,500 pounds of canned food and over 25 boxes of toys to those in need. Every year the donations we receive during our Holiday Challenge exceed our goals, and with the support of our generous employees, customers and community, we expect this year to be no different.

For the third time our Holiday Challenge will consist of two separate challenges. The first challenge will be to collect at least 400lbs of canned food that will be donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The second part of our Holiday Challenge will be to fill at least 10 boxes of toys that will be donated to the Cedars-Sinai's Maxine Dunitz Children's Health Center. The organization that fills up the highest number of boxes throughout our Holiday Challenge will win a lunch party for up to 40 people.
