Thunder Valley Casino Resort Gives Away Over $10 Million in August

LINCOLN, Calif., Sept. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort gave away $10,225,527 in jackpots to guests in August and will be following up with more in the fall. The casino is also gearing up for the football season with cash giveaways, including the Five Diamond World Poker Classic Satellite Events, Poker's $94,500 Big Game Getaway and the $600,000 Escape to Paradise Giveaway.

Five Diamond World Poker Classic Satellite Events

From September 1 through November 7, Thunder Club members will have the chance to accumulate live poker play hours and qualify for several Five Diamond World Poker Classic Satellite Events at Thunder Valley. The satellite tournaments, held November 9 through November 18, will offer over $89,000 in guaranteed cash and prizes to 155 players, and the first place winner of each satellite level will then be sent to the Bellagio in Las Vegas to play in the Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event - with the $10,300 entry fee covered and $4,000 in spending cash.

Poker's $94,500 Big Game Getaway

Poker players will also have the opportunity to win their share of $94,500 in cash and prizes in weekly drawings from September 12 to mid-December. Every Monday night, ten guests will be selected to receive from $200 to $1,000 in cash. Thunder Club members may earn drawing tickets throughout the week by making a qualifying hand, and on December 19, the coveted grand prize winner of the Big Game Getaway will be selected. Valued at $12,000, the all-inclusive Big Game Getaway grand prize for two includes tickets to the 2012 Super Bowl game in Indianapolis, air fare, hotel stay and $2,000 in spending cash. In addition to the selection of the grand prize winner, 14 players will receive cash prizes from $200 to $500.

$600,000 Escape to Paradise Giveaway

Guests can also continue to participate in the drawings for the $600,000 Escape to Paradise Dream Vacation Giveaway, now through October 1. Every Monday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., table game players can win up to $500 in Promotional Chips every 15 minutes in the Hula Hot Seats. Guests will receive a free daily entry into the weekly drawings, held every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and can earn additional entries by playing with their Thunder Club card. The grand finale drawing for a guaranteed $150,000 Lifetime of Vacations Prize Package will take place on October 1 at 7 p.m.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.

The recent expansion of Thunder Valley Casino Resort includes a new luxury, 17-story hotel with 297 rooms including 40 suites. The hotel has an expansive pool that includes private cabanas and Coconut, a poolside bar. The Spa at Thunder Valley features a wide variety of treatments including the exclusive 24-karat gold leaf facial. The expansion was completed in July 2010.
