Thunder Valley Casino Resort Gives Away Over $124 Million in Jackpots During 2010

LINCOLN, Calif., Jan. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thunder Valley Casino Resort celebrated another stellar year by giving away an astonishing $124,175,326.12 to over 50,000 players in 2010. Capping off the year, Thunder Valley also gave away $11,116,852 in jackpots in the month of December, a perfect way to celebrate the end of 2010.

The $500,000 Jump, Jive & Win drawings are held every Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. with 6 guaranteed winners including a $25,000 Grand Prize Winner. There are also 550 guaranteed winners for the month of January in $500 Hot Seats which will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Every 15 minutes, 2 players will win free Slot or Table play. Guests can earn entries into the $500,000 Jump, Jive & Win drawings while playing with their Thunder Club card and earn double entries all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Hourly drawings are being held every Wednesday night from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. through March 9 for the $100,000 Hot Hands & Cool Car Poker Drawings. Every Wednesday 15 winners will share in over $3,000 in cash and prizes during this Poker Room exclusive promotion. The Grand Prize drawing will be held on March 16 with over $70,000 in cash and prizes awarded including one new Corvette. Guest can earn entries into each week's drawing by receiving a qualifying hand while playing with their Thunder Club card. Entries accumulated throughout the promotion will be put toward the grand Prize drawing on March 16. Qualifying hands include any full house (one entry), any four of a kind (three entries), and any straight flush (five entries).

Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding facility.

The recent expansion of Thunder Valley Casino Resort includes a new luxury, 17-story hotel with 297 rooms including 40 suites. Inside the hotel is a 10,000 square-foot banquet and entertainment hall, meeting rooms, bars and a gift shop.  The hotel has an expansive pool that includes private cabanas and Coconut, a poolside bar.  The Spa at Thunder Valley will feature a wide variety of treatments including the exclusive 24-carat gold leaf facial.  The expansion was completed in July 2010.
