Thunder Valley Casino Resort Kicks Off Sweet 16 Tournament Series

LINCOLN, Calif., March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With $400,000 in prize purses up for grabs, Thunder Valley Casino Resort's Sweet 16 Tournament Series is sure to be one of their biggest events yet.

The Sweet 16 Tournament Series is running March 28 through April 15. The Series offers 16 events with a mix of games and structures including Omaha, HORSE, Six Handed No Limit Hold'em, and Bounty events. Also for the first time Thunder Valley will be offering Ante Only tournaments.

The Sweet 16 Main Event is April 12-15 and features a prize pool guaranteed at $200,000, with a buy-in of $1,100. All players start with $15,000 in chips and blind levels that include 60 minute levels for the majority of the event. The final table will be broadcast live on Thunder Valley Poker Room's official blog
