Tic Tac® Mints Launches 2011 Shake, Share & Care Campaign in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

SOMERSET, N.J., Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tic Tac® brand announced today the launch of its 2011 Shake, Share & Care campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and CancerCare®, a nonprofit organization providing free support services to people affected by cancer.  As part of the 2011 Shake, Share & Care campaign, a program which marks the seventh year of the Tic Tac brand's partnership and commitment to CancerCare®, Tic Tac® will again make a $100,000 donation to the charity.  Tic Tac® has also launched the Tic Tac® Extraordinary Caregiver Contest on the Tic Tac® USA Facebook page to honor the many caregivers that have dedicated themselves to helping those affected by cancer.

The 2011 Tic Tac® Extraordinary Caregiver Contest will ask consumers to shake things up by nominating and voting for the most deserving caregivers who have dedicated themselves to those affected by cancer. Three extraordinary caregivers will each receive $2,500(1) to use towards an extraordinary experience, and the nominators of the three winning entries will each receive a $500 gift card(2). Caregiver nominations will be accepted August 26th through October 3rd and consumer voting for the finalists will take place November 1st though November 11th , all at www.Facebook.com/TicTacUSA.

The limited edition Pink Grapefruit flavor will be available at select drug, grocery and convenience stores from August through November 2011.
