TigerTurf Products Receive IPEMA Certification
ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TigerTurf, the industry's most popular synthetic turf line, has received an International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association certificate for five of its top selling turf products.
TigerTurf's synthetic grass playground surface systems have been rigorously tested by independent third party laboratories to ensure they meet the requirements necessary under the American Society For Testing Materials F1292 ™ certification. This standard published by the ASTM references impact performance requirements for playground surfaces under two different criteria: G-Max (shock) as well as the Head Injury Criterion score, which measures the impact severity quantifying the risk of head trauma.
TigerTurf Diamond Pro line, Diamond Light line, Everglade Pro line as well as Pet/All-Purpose Turf are now certified under the IPEMA ASTM F1292. According to the IPEMA test results, these products can withstand at least 200 gmax and a HIC of less than 1,000. IPEMA is a non-profit membership trade association.
