LANHAM, Md., June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society for Vascular Ultrasound is excited to announce that Tim Goldfarb will serve as keynote presenter of the 2014 SVU Annual Conference at Disney's Contemporary Resort on Thursday, August 7 at 7:40AM. As the Chief Executive Officer of one of the most respected healthcare systems in the Southeast, Mr. Goldfarb will present on the impact of academic medicine and technology on healthcare reform.
A past Chair of the Florida Hospital Association and the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems, Mr. Goldfarb has served as CEO of Shands Healthcare since July 2001. Mr. Goldfarb also serves as Chair of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
