Tim Tebow Foundation Scores Big at ARS-Sponsored Golf Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives from American Residential Services (ARS), a Memphis-based national provider of HVAC and plumbing services, hit the course March 12 as the platinum sponsor for the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF) Celebrity Gala & Golf Classic.

The event took place at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., to raise money for the Foundation's outreach efforts serving thousands of children around the world.

It attracted a host of celebrities, including Tim Tebow, Urban Meyer, Chipper Jones, Billy Horschel, Zach Johnson, Duck Dynasty Cast Members and more.

The Celebrity Red Carpet Gala kicked off the event on March 11. It was a star-studded evening that included foundation supporters and was highlighted by a private concert complements of The Band Perry.

The Golf Classic took place the next day. Teams of five, with one celebrity each, enjoyed a fun round of golf to raise awareness for the Foundation's outreach initiatives.

"Although this is an exciting event for participants, the real winners were the children who benefitted from over 1.65 million dollars, the proceeds of which go to TTF's outreach programs. We applaud TTF for their commitment to the mission of bettering lives," said Don Karnes, ARS CEO.

In addition to the Golf Classic, earlier this year employees at ARS volunteered and raised funds nationwide for one of TTF's outreach programs called Night to Shine. NTS is an unforgettable prom night experience for people of special needs.
