TipRanks Names Bryant Sheehy as General Manager North America

TEL AVIV, Israel, Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- TipRanks, the leading global investment tool providing private investors and day traders with the ability to measure the performance of financial advisors and analysts, today announced that Bryant Sheehy will be joining the team as General Manager, North America. In this newly created position, Sheehy will focus on strengthening and expanding TipRanks' North American presence by building its marketing, sales and customer service teams, developing its suite of offered services; and establishing major partnerships with financial media organizations to online brokers and trading app developers.

TipRanks was founded in 2012 by Uri Gruenbaum to create a functional, user-friendly research platform for the finance community, or a "Bloomberg for the average Joe." Since its creation, it has seen steady growth internationally and in the US by meeting an increased demand for simple, straightforward programs to evaluate the performance of the people advising on investment decisions. With the addition of Sheehy, the company will focus on growing revenue by increasing premium-level subscriptions using sales and distribution channels provided by the partnerships that Sheehy will be sourcing and working with.

Sheehy has held numerous leadership positions in his career and a proven track record of success in each: he spent the last ten years developing data licensing and content syndication partnerships at Zacks Investment Research with the goal of bringing Zacks' investing insights to millions of self-directed investors. Sheehy developed profitable partnerships with a wide range of financial media firms, investing software developers and financial data aggregators. Prior to Zacks, he has held positions at Great Lakes Kwik Space, Analytic Research LLC and Colliers Illiff Thorn.
