Tohatsu America Corporation to assume all sales and distribution, including providing after services, of Achilles Inflatable Boats in the United States and Canada
COPPELL, Texas and TOKYO, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Achilles Corporation and Tohatsu America Corporation (TAC) announced today that Tohatsu America will assume all sales and distribution responsibilities, including after-sales services and support, of Achilles inflatable boats in the United States and Canada, effective October 1, 2026.
The strategic partnership combines the long-standing manufacturing expertise and product heritage of Achilles and the established sales, distribution and service network of Tohatsu America to strengthen the Achilles brand and enhance dealer and customer support throughout North America.
Under the new distribution structure:
Achilles Corporation will continue to design and manufacture Achilles inflatable boats to its established engineering and manufacturing standards, maintaining the premium quality, craftsmanship, and reliability that customers and dealers have trusted for decades.
Tohatsu America Corporation will assume responsibility for sales, order processing, inventory management, logistics, warranty administration, dealer support, marketing activities, and wholesale distribution throughout the United States and Canada.
