Tony Timpano Esq. Joins The Alliance Entertainment Team

SUNRISE, Fla., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Entertainment, the world's largest distributor of CD & DVD catalog titles and provider of home entertainment software distribution, category management and e-commerce fulfillment, announced today the appointment of Tony Timpano as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, effective immediately.

Mr. Timpano joins Alliance from the Law Office of A.B. Timpano II where he was the founder and managing attorney.  Mr. Timpano provided comprehensive legal advice to clients in the areas of entertainment, media, intellectual property, licensing and corporate law.   

Mr. Timpano is an accomplished entertainment attorney and business and legal affairs executive with a proven track record.  He has held senior executive positions with Sony Music's RED Distribution, Edel North America, ICON Entertainment, and served as a consultant to the New York-based record promotion/distribution and marketing services company, Total Entertainment Asset Management.

Mr. Timpano graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor Degree.  He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University.
