Top Technology Executive Madan Nagaldinne Joins Compass As The Company's First-Ever Chief People Officer
Former Facebook and Amazon HR Executive Will Steer Talent Recruitment and Development at the Fast-Growing Firm
NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Compass, a real estate technology company, today announced that Madan Nagaldinne has been appointed Chief People Officer and will assume his new role on September 1. Nagaldinne will become a member of the executive leadership team and oversee the company's Human Resources strategy and operations including staff recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management, and learning and development.
Nagaldinne brings twenty years of human resources management to Compass, including prior roles at Facebook and Amazon. He will report into Chief Executive Officer Robert Reffkin and Chief Operating Officer Maëlle Gavet.

The decision to hire a Chief People Officer is a result of the company's rapid growth and focus on staff development. Compass doubled the size of its staff over the last twelve months and has nearly 100 open roles across its 30 offices nationwide.

Nagaldinne most recently was with Chief People Officer of Outcome Health, one of the fastest growing healthcare technology firms globally. Prior to that, he spent six years at Facebook in various roles including head of HR for the company's Global Sales teams and head of HR for Facebook's New York office. He also served as head of HR for Facebook in Asia Pacific where he oversaw its expansion to 14 countries. Prior to Facebook, Nagaldinne led Amazon's expansion into Asia, managing a 100-person HR team. His experience leading significant geographic expansion at both Facebook and Amazon is particularly relevant to Compass as we move into new markets nationwide. Nagaldinne began his career as a software engineer before transitioning into HR. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
