TORRID'S ANNUAL CASTING CALL RETURNS TO CELEBRATE EVERYTHING YOU ARE

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Torrid, the leading fashion destination for curvy women sizes 10-30, proudly announces the return of its highly anticipated Casting Call for 2025 – an empowering, nationwide model search.

Over the years, Torrid's Casting Call has evolved far beyond a traditional model search, it has become a powerful platform for women to represent the brand, share their stories, and inspire others. Celebrated for championing body positivity, diversity, and authentic representation, the campaign continues to reflect Torrid's deep commitment to inclusivity and self-expression.

In 2024, Torrid crowned Essence Sugar, a 29-year-old mechanical engineer from Jacksonville, Florida, as the grand prize winner of its largest-ever nationwide model search, which saw more than 11,000 applicants across the U.S. and Canada. This year's program is designed to reach and engage Torrid's dynamic community through a robust digital experience paired with an experiential event, social media engagement, and influencer partnerships. The result: an inspiring and seamless opportunity for customers to showcase who they are and connect with a national movement that redefines beauty on their own terms.

Applications officially open on September 9, 2025, at Torrid.com/CastingCall2025. Entrants are invited to submit photos and a short video sharing why they want to be the next Torrid model. From these entries, 30 finalists will be selected. Public voting will determine the Top 15, who will then travel to Los Angeles for an immersive bootcamp experience featuring mentorship, content creation, and a professional photoshoot.

In addition, Torrid will host an in-person Casting Call event in Los Angeles on October 4, 2025. This special experience invites participants to take professional photographs, receive expert advice from a panel of judges, and access everything they need to prepare and submit their application on-site – making it easier than ever to step into the spotlight.

• A $15,000 Torrid Wardrobe (awarded over one year)
• $5,000 in cash
