Torsh Launches Bluetooth-Enabled Version of Their Teacher Video Observation Apps
NEW ORLEANS, March 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Torsh, an educational technology company that produces Torsh TALENT, just launched a new bluetooth-compatible version of their T Uploader iOS and Android apps. Torsh TALENT is a video-based online community and data platform that drives teacher professional development by enabling classroom observation, feedback and coaching. The newly-enhanced app allows educators to easily capture videos of classroom instruction using their phones or tablets, and automatically sync those videos with the audio captured from an external bluetooth microphone.
Many of the schools and organizations that use Torsh TALENT as a video observation platform have found that the greatest challenge to using video with educators is capturing high quality audio. Mobile devices are not designed for recording audio in large classroom settings and as a result, the audio quality is sometimes lacking. Consequently, Torsh has decided to make it easier for its clients to capture much better audio by using its updated and improved T Uploader apps to capture video in classroom settings.
