TowerBrook Capital Partners to Team with Experienced Consumer Goods Executive Tom Flocco

NEW YORK, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. ("TowerBrook"), a New York- and London-based investment firm, today announced that Thomas J. Flocco has been retained by TowerBrook as an advisor to explore investment opportunities in the fast-moving consumer goods space ("FMCG"). Flocco has extensive experience in the FMCG industry, which specializes in selling retail goods with a shorter shelf-life or higher inventory turns, such as pre-packaged and fresh foods, soft drinks and alcohol, and cleaning products. Flocco is the former CEO of Beam Global Spirits & Wine and a former partner at McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Flocco most recently worked at Fortune Brands, where he was the President and CEO of Beam Global Spirits & Wine, a $2.8 billion global distilled spirits business with 4,000 employees. Prior to his time with Fortune Brands, Mr. Flocco was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led engagements with both traditional and non-traditional consumer clients across a broad range of issues, including revenue growth, supply chain, and operational challenges, as well as front-end consumer issues. Mr. Flocco previously spent five years at Procter & Gamble in both sales and brand management. He has a B.A. in Chemistry from Boston University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
