Farmer-founded Tractor makes organic drinks with purpose—lifting up farmers, honoring the soil, and celebrating community at Farm Aid's 40th anniversary.

DENVER and MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As the nation turns its attention to Organic Month, Tractor Beverage Company today announced it will return for the second year as a sponsor of Farm Aid, supporting the festival's 40th anniversary celebration Sept. 20–21 in Minneapolis. Farm Aid 40 will also mark the special, one-day-only debut of Haymaker, Tractor's organic reimagining of switchel—the centuries-old drink known as the original sports drink for farmers. Haymaker will be broadly available beginning January 2026.

September's celebration of Organic Month sets the stage for Tractor's national launch of We The Soil, a new advocacy initiative focused on the farm bill and rooted in support for organic farmers and the soil that sustains us all. The campaign, developed in partnership with the Cornucopia Institute and the Farmhand Foundation, is Tractor's rallying cry for citizens, farmers, and policymakers to stand together in defense of organic programs under the farm bill. Through postcards, an online advocacy platform, and storytelling activations on Tractor's Mad Farmer Tour, We The Soil will invite thousands of voices to remind Congress that soil health and organic farming are critical to our shared future.

The initiative will formally launch at the Farm Bill to Table Breakfast on Sept. 20 at the University of Minnesota's Student Organic Farm, where farmers, policymakers, advocates, and artists will gather for a morning of conversation, storytelling, and action—spotlighting the role of organic farming in feeding communities, protecting ecosystems, and strengthening local economies.

At the festival itself, Tractor will mark a key stop on its Mad Farmer Tour—a cross-country storytelling journey celebrating farmers, food, and community. The iconic Mad Farmer Airstream will serve as a gathering place and activation hub, home to Tractor's We The Soil postcard-writing activity, where fans can pen personal notes to legislators urging support for organic farmers in the upcoming farm bill. Festivalgoers will also be among the first to taste Haymaker at Farm Aid concessions before its national release in January 2026.
