TransPerfect Global Headquarters to Move to New York City's Nomad Tower in 2019

New Headquarters Aimed at Accommodating Growth; Company Expects to Add Significantly to 800-Person NYC Staff

NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- TransPerfect, the world's largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business, today announced it has signed a new lease for its global headquarters in New York. The company will be taking five full floors at Global Holding Management Group's Nomad Tower, located at 1250 Broadway.

TransPerfect was founded in an NYU dorm room in 1992 and has been headquartered in New York City ever since. Today, the company boasts over 5,000 employees worldwide across more than 100 offices and is now the largest company in its industry. The move increases the size of the company's headquarters to over 123,000 square feet—which will accommodate all current staff and allow the opportunity for continued growth.

By moving only a few blocks from the company's previous location, TransPerfect ensures that its NYC-based employees will not experience significant changes to their commutes. Further, employees will have access to a variety of amenities in the newly renovated building.

The company expects to complete its move in the last half of 2019.
