ATLANTA, Feb. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Transwestern's Atlanta office today announced the firm has been named the exclusive leasing agent for Platinum Tower, a 312,500-square-foot building located at 400 Interstate North Parkway in metro Atlanta's Cumberland/Galleria submarket. The property is an investment of Beacon Investment Properties, which purchased the property on January 9 for $48 million.

Currently 94.4 percent occupied, the 17-story, premier suburban office high rise is located at the intersection of Interstates 75 and 285, providing strong visibility and easy access to the new Cumberland Boulevard underpass and the entire metro area. The property is surrounded by a number of amenities, such as the Sheraton Suites Galleria hotel, Garrison's Broiler & Tap and the Cumberland Mall. On-site amenities include a full-service deli, key-card access, high-speed fiber, on-site property management, fitness center, tenant conference room, valet dry cleaning service and overnight drop boxes.
LEED® certified and ENERGY STAR® labeled, Platinum Tower's exterior features alternating bands of granite and black reflective glass and is accented by stainless steel trim. An attached glass-clad parking structure provides 1,280 parking spaces that are directly accessible to both the lobby and the first four floors. There is currently 25,000 square feet of available space in the building.
