CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Travel app Hopper today is unveiling a sneak peek of the bargains consumers can expect to find during this year's Travel Deal Tuesday. Regarded as one of the best days to shop for travel all year, Travel Deal Tuesday is a national shopping event that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which is November 27th.

The Hopper app predicts and monitors flight and hotel prices and sends users deal notifications. The company sent over 1.1 million notifications on Travel Deal Tuesday last year. The volume of fare sales was more than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined.

Travel Deal Tuesday Airline Preview:

Hawaiian Airlines will be offering promotional fares on non-stop flights to Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, and Japan, with one-way fares from Honolulu to Sapporo Japan starting from $299 per person.
Cathay Pacific (cathaypacific.com) will be offering promotional fares from the US, including new gateways Seattle and DC, to destinations in Asia such as Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai as well as destinations in Australia and New Zealand.
Icelandair (icelandair.com) will be offering promotional fares to Reykjavík–Keflavík Airport.
Philippine Airlines (philippineairlines.com) will be offering promotional fares to destinations such as Manila, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, and Seoul.
South African Airways (flysaa.com) will be offering their lowest fares of the year, to destinations such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, Accra, and Dakar.
Avianca (avianca.com) will be offering promotional fares to destinations such as Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
Qatar Airways (qatarairways.com) will be offering promotional fares to destinations such as Bangkok, Bali, Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), Da Nang, and Seychelles.

These offers above are just a preview of what to expect on Travel Deal Tuesday. Based on Hopper's historic flight data, the company is also predicting that there will be flight deals to domestic destinations like Honolulu (27% off), Miami (36% off), Las Vegas (34% off), and New York (26% off). Additionally, Hopper is forecasting more international deals to destinations like Rio De Janeiro (32% off), Barcelona (36% off), Aruba (32% off), and London (40% off).

Airlines aren't the only travel providers planning to celebrate Travel Deal Tuesday this year. Hopper has confirmed that hotels in major cities like New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco will get in on the action this year with average savings up to 35%. Hotels like Hotel Angeleno, Hotel Normandie, and Conrad Miami are all planning to offer Travel Deal Tuesday promotions.
