TravelTainment Expands TT-DataMix with Wirecard SCP-solution

TravelTainment GmbH, an Amadeus IT Group company, and Wirecard AG are jointly offering an innovative solution for multichannel commerce.

The recently concluded strategic alliance focuses on expanding the Dynamic Packaging Product "TT-DataMix", which allows seamless payment processes with the Wirecard-solution "Supplier and Commission Payments" (SCP). TT-DataMix combines package tours that have been dynamically packaged for travel operators, which are then marketed via the linked sales channels.

"The new payment solution from Wirecard means that in future, bookings from the low cost segment can be paid for with a virtual credit card from dynamic operators within TT-DataMix," commented Rudolf Hengefeld, Vice President Operations with TravelTainment.

Wirecard AG's SCP-solution automates complicated manual processes: Going beyond traditional payment processing between the tourism company and the consumer, Wirecard's SCP offers integrated processing of payments between companies and service providers in the industry. Global payments can be processed quickly, securely and with precise costs. A virtual MasterCard, Visa or Maestro card on a prepaid-basis is created in real time for each individual booking transaction.
