Tricoci University of Beauty Culture Hosts 'Say Yes to The Prom Dress' Drive to Support Local Students

CHICAGO, Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is excited to announce its annual 'Say Yes to The Prom Dress' drive. Members of the community are encouraged to donate gently used formalwear, accessories, and shoes at any of Tricoci University's 15 campuses to help students find the perfect outfit for prom.

Generous community donations will allow students to shop for formalwear and accessories at no cost during a special shopping day on March 11 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the following Tricoci University campuses:

• Bridgeview, IL
• Indianapolis, IN
• Rockford, IL
• Normal, IL

"At Tricoci University, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve," said Krissy Crandell, Manager of High School and Community Outreach at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. "Prom is an unforgettable occasion, and we want to ensure that financial limitations don't stand in the way of students feeling confident and beautiful and celebrated on their special night."

In addition to the shopping experience, Tricoci University campuses will be offering prom hair and makeup demos during the event, providing students with inspiration and tips for achieving their perfect prom look.

This year's event is supported by  Pink Pewter, Beauty Gives Back, and the Daisie Foundation, whose contributions provide students with a wide selection of stylish options.

Donations of gently used prom dresses, formalwear, shoes, and accessories can be dropped off at any of Tricoci University's 15 campus locations during regular business hours until February 28.
