Trion Solutions Names Donald J. Watza, CEBS as Vice President of Benefits

The Troy-based professional employer organization and human resources services firm's latest hire adds to a growing list of high-profile senior executives drawn to the firm in the course of its rapid growth.

Watza brings nearly three decades of professional experience to his work with Trion. Prior to joining the company, he led two successful benefits strategy and consulting businesses. These were preceded by service at a range of leading insurance carriers and brokers, including Acordia, First Security/CIGNA, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
Watza is a recognized expert within the benefits field, having taught CEBS courses through leading area universities as well as specialized financial courses through his own private firm. He has written extensively about issues and trends within the insurance and benefits arena, both for instructional and publication purposes.
