Trua Senior Living Locators Launches in South Fulton
Local owner Fred Giahi brings personalized senior living guidance to families across South Fulton and metro Atlanta
SOUTH FULTON, Ga., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Trua Senior Living Locators, a service that helps seniors and their families find living opportunities suited to their needs, preferences and lifestyles, has launched in South Fulton under the local ownership of Fred Giahi.
Giahi's decision to enter the senior care services field was shaped by his family's experiences. His father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, and Giahi witnessed the challenges his family faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, when many memory care communities were closed to visitors.
He also helped his family search for the right senior living community for an aunt, an experience he described as emotionally and physically exhausting.
"Those experiences showed me how difficult this process can be for families, especially when they are already under stress," Giahi said. "I wanted to help others navigate senior living decisions with greater support, clarity and compassion."
Trua's approach combines personal guidance, clinical insight, proprietary technology and community-vetting protocols to help families identify senior living opportunities that align with each client's current and long-term needs.
"To me, caring means listening with empathy and showing genuine concern for the needs of others," Giahi said. "Every family deserves to feel heard, supported and guided through what is often one of the most important decisions they will make."
Founded in 2019, Cincinnati-based Trua Senior Living Locators provides personalized support to families exploring senior living and senior care services. The company works to simplify the search process while helping families make informed, confident decisions for their loved ones.
As an owner-operator, Giahi is involved in every aspect of the South Fulton business, from developing relationships with local care professionals and community partners to personally guiding families through their senior living options.
Although Giahi entered the industry with limited direct experience, he said Trua's training, mentorship and ongoing support have given him the tools and confidence to serve local families effectively.
"My goal is to build a strong foundation and establish Trua as a trusted resource throughout South Fulton," Giahi said. "I want families to know they have someone local who will listen, take their needs seriously and help them find the best possible living opportunity for their loved one."
Giahi has lived in the area for more than 20 years. A longtime educator, he has participated in several community organizations and remains actively involved with the Decatur Senior Group.
