True to Form, Randy's Donuts Won't Skimp on National Donut Day

INGLEWOOD, Calif., May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Known for doing things big, Randy's Donuts, the world's most recognized donut shop, today announced it will give every guest four glazed donut rounds on National Donut Day June 7 from 6 a.m. to noon at all locations while supplies last. The iconic donut shop also launched a social media promotion today leading up to National Donut Day.

Between now and June 7, guests who post their favorite Randy's photo with both #RandysDonuts and #NationalDonutDay on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, will be automatically entered to win a grand prize of a free dozen classic donuts per week for a year, with 10 runners-up to receive donut parties of $100 in value and 50 third-place contestants to receive classic dozens.

Randy's currently has four locations in the greater Los Angeles area – Inglewood, Century City, El Segundo and Hollywood. A new corporate location in Downey is slated to open in August and several others are planned for 2019 – 2020. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to franchise the concept domestically and internationally. The brand has signed deals to bring its word-famous donuts to the Philippines and South Korea in 2019. Randy's signature 32-foot novelty architecture donut sits atop the original Inglewood shop and is a top tourist stop, attracting thousands of customers to pose for photos.
