TruLife Distribution Prepares Selected Brands for U.S. Retail Buyer Meetings
Following Newtopia Now 2026, TruLife advances selected health, wellness, nutrition, beauty and consumer brands into direct retail buyer evaluation ahead of its September ECRM program.
BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TruLife Distribution, a U.S. retail commercialization and brand management company specializing in helping domestic and international brands navigate the American retail market, announced today that it is preparing a select group of emerging brands for direct retail buyer meetings during its upcoming September ECRM program at PGA National Resort in South Florida.
The program represents the next stage in TruLife Distribution's effort to identify, prepare and advance retail-ready brands into meaningful conversations with U.S. retail decision-makers.
Following its participation at Newtopia Now 2026 in Denver, where TruLife met with brands, buyers and industry leaders across the health, wellness and natural products sectors, the company has continued evaluating opportunities for the U.S. market.
Rather than treating retail expansion as a simple introduction between a brand and retailer, TruLife focuses on commercial readiness, buyer education, pricing and margin structure, operational capabilities, positioning and retailer support.
"Getting a meeting with a buyer is important, but the meeting itself is only one part of the process," said Brian Gould, founder and CEO of TruLife Distribution. "The real question is whether the brand is prepared for what happens before, during and after that conversation. The product has to make commercial sense for the retailer, the story has to be clear, the margins have to work, and the brand has to be capable of supporting the business if an opportunity develops."
TruLife Distribution has participated in ECRM programs since 2019, while Gould has attended and participated in ECRM programs for more than 16 years.
Unlike traditional trade shows, ECRM programs are built around scheduled meetings between brands and retail buyers. For TruLife, the format provides direct access to retail decision-makers while generating feedback on packaging, positioning, pricing, category fit, competitive differentiation and overall retail potential.
"Newtopia gave us an opportunity to identify promising products and continue conversations throughout the industry," Gould said. "ECRM allows us to take the next step. We can put selected products directly in front of buyers, hear what resonates, identify potential obstacles and determine where genuine retail opportunities may exist. We would rather receive real feedback from the marketplace than build a U.S. strategy around assumptions."
TruLife expects to present brands across several consumer categories during the September program, including health and wellness, dietary supplements, functional products and personal care.
The company is intentionally limiting the brands included in the program.
"We are not interested in filling a room with as many products as possible," Gould said. "We want to bring buyers products that have a real point of difference and brands that understand the level of preparation and commitment required to enter the U.S. market correctly. Protecting the quality of those buyer conversations is extremely important to us."
For international brands, the U.S. retail market can present significant opportunities but also substantial challenges. TruLife's commercialization platform is designed to address those challenges through market preparation, retail sales development, buyer presentations, account follow-up, distribution coordination, public relations, marketing support and ongoing brand development.
The company also uses buyer feedback to help determine whether a broader U.S. rollout is justified.
"We don't believe every brand should immediately spend heavily trying to launch nationally," Gould said. "Sometimes the smartest first move is to get the product in front of knowledgeable buyers, listen carefully and validate the opportunity. If the response is strong, you have considerably better information with which to build the next phase."
TruLife works with brands before and after buyer presentations to help refine messaging, pricing, sales materials and operational readiness.
"Buyer access is valuable, but access without preparation has limited value," Gould said. "If you are fortunate enough to get in front of a serious retail decision-maker, you need to understand what that buyer is evaluating and be prepared to answer the commercial questions that determine whether the conversation moves forward."
Following the September ECRM program, TruLife plans to evaluate buyer feedback with participating brands and determine appropriate next steps, which may include additional buyer follow-up, retail preparation, pricing adjustments and broader U.S. commercialization initiatives.
As TruLife continues expanding its pipeline of domestic and international brands, the company remains focused on identifying products with meaningful differentiation, realistic economics and long-term retail growth.
