TrustArc Launches GDPR Privacy Workshop Series

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TrustArc, the data privacy management company, today announced its new GDPR Privacy Workshop series, scheduled to take place in 25+ major cities in the United States, Europe and Asia. To help companies meet the May 25, 2018 deadline to comply with the European Union's (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), TrustArc is offering complimentary workshops that feature informative discussions, case studies and practical solutions to achieve GDPR compliance. The first workshop will take place September 26 in Boston, Massachusetts, and Orange County, California.

With less than a year to comply with the GDPR, the most sweeping change to data protection in the past 20 years, companies all over the world are determining how to best adjust their internal systems and processes so they can demonstrate compliance. In a survey by Dimensional Research among 200 U.S. privacy professionals in May 2017, a majority of respondents (61%) hadn't yet begun implementing their GDPR readiness strategy.
