Delivering Connected Commitment for Resilient Future-Ready Network
CHESTER, S.C., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Truvista Fiber will kick off a year-long celebration honoring its history of service, innovation and investment in local communities with Customer Appreciation Day at its Chester headquarters on Friday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The celebration marks the beginning of a year of activities leading to Truvista's 130th anniversary. From its beginnings as a local telephone company to delivering today's advanced fiber connectivity, Truvista has continued to evolve alongside the communities it serves, investing in new technology and infrastructure to help ensure local homes and businesses have access to the connectivity they need today and for the future.
Customer Appreciation Day will feature a Chick-fil-A food truck, with a free sandwich for the first 100 customers who arrive. Customers are invited to stop by Truvista's headquarters at 112 York Street to meet members of the local team and celebrate the company's longstanding connection to Chester and communities throughout its service territory.
The celebration will continue that evening at Chester High School's football game, bringing employees, customers and the community together to cheer for the Cyclones.
"Reaching 130 years is about much more than a milestone. It represents generations of customers, families, businesses and communities that have been part of our story," said Carla French, President and CEO of Truvista Fiber. "Our roots run deep, but our focus has always been forward. We're incredibly proud of our history, but equally proud of how we continue to evolve, investing in innovation and bringing the latest technology and connectivity to the communities we serve. This anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate where we've been, where we're going and, most importantly, the customers and communities who make it possible."
A Year of Connecting with Customers
Throughout the anniversary year, Truvista will host pop-up customer appreciation events at locations across its service territory, giving customers opportunities to meet local employees, enjoy special activities and celebrate Truvista's connection to their communities.
The events will reflect Truvista's Connected Commitment, the company's customer promise focused on providing a consistent, reliable experience, providing local support and putting customers first.
Founded Oct. 7, 1897, as the Chester Telephone Company, Truvista has grown and transformed alongside the technology that connects people and businesses. What began with telephone service has evolved into a commitment to delivering advanced broadband and fiber technology designed to keep communities connected, competitive and ready for what's next.
The anniversary celebration will also recognize the important role local businesses play in the communities Truvista serves and reinforce the company's commitment to being a local technology partner, helping businesses stay connected, productive and competitive as their technology needs continue to evolve.
Additional details about upcoming customer appreciation events and anniversary activities will be announced throughout the year.
