TSI Respiratory Protection Roadshow Rated Top-Notch By Attendees

SHOREVIEW, Minn., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TSI Incorporated, a manufacturer of precision measurement instruments, hosted the first Respiratory Protection Roadshow workshop in a series of four to be held around the country this year. The workshop was held on the TSI Shoreview Campus being facilitated by industry recognized instructor, Dr. Roy McKay of the University of Cincinnati. The event was highly-attended by Program Administrators and Fit Testers from healthcare, emergency services and general industry who rated it top-notch.

Workshop attendees received valuable respiratory protection training in a one-day course. Topics covered included current standards regulating respiratory protection, approved fit testing methods and correct techniques to administer and maintain a respiratory protection program. Demonstration included hands-on quantitative fit test (QNFT) training utilizing the proven TSI PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester as well as qualitative fit test (QLFT) training with the TSI Qfit™ Respirator Fit Tester. Discussion on how to interpret results from each method and common mistakes in that interpretation were discussed.
