New Jeep Wrangler Desert Race Truck includes the most well-known, highly-specialized components
SANTA ANA, Calif., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuff Stuff 4x4 and Jeepspeed today announced the first Jeep Wrangler Desert Race Truck to be built for under $50,000 out-of-pocket. This new truck contains some of the most iconic, well-known, off-road, highly specialized components in the off-road racing industry.
The build features Poison Spyder bumpers and Jeep armor; PRP seat belts and race seats; auto meter gages; Yukon Gear and Axle 5:14 gears and axles; MaxTrans Custom Built Turbo 400 transmission; an LQ4 engine built by Pacific Fab; King Shocks suspension – 2.5 coil over with 3.5 bypass; 37" tires from General Tires; a Fiberwerx front dash and center console; Ruff Stuff front and rear axles, arms and suspension kits; TUFFSTUFF Led lights, winches and recovery products; Linex interior cab; Pegasus off-road hoses and fittings; Airaid air intake system; MLR Raceworks Matt Lovell Cage Design; T&J performance race shop build and race prep.

The new race truck will make its debut in 2016 and attempt to race some of the earlier races like the Vegas to Reno race August 19th and 20th. The truck will be raced by Brett Maister, Mike Barnette and Matt Lovell in races around the U.S. and Mexico in the SCORE International and Best in the Desert series.
