TURBRO Brings Hot Water Anywhere With New Rotorua WH-34K Portable Outdoor Water Heater

Battery-powered portable design brings on-demand hot water to RV trips, campsites, backyards, stables, and other places without permanent plumbing

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TURBRO, a home and outdoor comfort brand, announced the Rotorua WH-34K Portable Outdoor Water Heater, a compact solution designed to bring hot water directly to where it is needed. From showering at an RV campsite to washing a muddy dog in the backyard, rinsing horses at a stable or cleaning outdoor gear after an adventure, the WH-34K expands portable comfort beyond the traditional campsite.

Unlike permanently installed water heaters, the Rotorua WH-34K is designed to move between locations and uses a built-in rechargeable lithium battery to power its water pump and controls. Users can place the pump into a water container, connect a propane cylinder, and access hot water without a permanent water line or AC outlet during operation.

That portability makes the WH-34K useful well beyond RV travel. It provides a way to bring hot water to everyday outdoor tasks that would otherwise require access to a nearby faucet, long hose, or permanent plumbing, whether that means cleaning up after a camping trip, washing pets outdoors, or tackling chores around a farm or stable.

Hot Water That Moves With You

The WH-34K delivers up to 34,000 BTU of heating power with water temperatures adjustable from 95°F to 122°F. Its constant-temperature design helps maintain a steady outlet temperature, while water can begin heating within seconds.

A built-in 5,200mAh rechargeable lithium battery powers the pump and system controls for approximately 120 to 150 minutes of hot-water operation per charge, depending on settings and conditions. USB-C PD and 12V DC charging provide additional flexibility for RV travel, camping, and off-grid use.

The system can also operate in Cold-Water Mode when heated water is unnecessary, making it useful for quick rinses and cleanup while conserving fuel.

From Campsites to Backyards and Stables

While portable water heaters are commonly associated with camping and RV travel, the WH-34K is designed for a wider range of outdoor routines.

Campers and RV owners can use it for showers or to wash dishes and equipment when hookups aren't available. At home, it can provide a convenient way to wash dogs outdoors without running a hose from an indoor faucet. At farms and stables, owners can bring water directly to horses and equipment. Cyclists, off-road enthusiasts, and outdoor workers can also use the system to rinse mud and dirt from bikes, boots, tools, and gear before packing up.

For locations without a convenient water source, the WH-34K includes a 40-liter water-storage bag. Its pump can also draw water from a standard bucket or other suitable water container, eliminating the need for a permanent plumbing connection.

At 12.8 pounds, the portable unit includes a carry handle, pre-installed shower-head holder and storage for key accessories. A quick-connect propane regulator is designed to simplify setup when moving the unit between locations.

Designed for Outdoor Use

The Rotorua WH-34K includes multiple built-in protection features that monitor conditions including low battery, over-temperature, tilt, flame, exhaust, over-voltage, and continuous operation. A patented auto-restart function also lets users pause the water while shampooing, washing, or cleaning and automatically resume flow when they turn it back on, without pressing the start button again.

With its combination of portable power, flexible water sourcing and on-demand heating, the Rotorua WH-34K is designed around a simple idea: hot water should be able to go where everyday outdoor life happens.
