Turkcell Wins 3 Awards at the Golden Drum International Advertising and Public Relations Festival

ISTANBUL, October 18, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Turkcell (NYSE: TKC, ISE:TCELL), the leading communications and technology company in Turkey, today announced that it has distinguished itself at the Golden Drum International Advertising and Public Relations Festival by winning three awards. Turkcell's Corporate Communications Department received "The Best Corporate PR", "The Best PR Team" and "The Best PR Event" awards.

Turkcell participated in the Golden Drum Festival with its "Turkcell 3G Speed Test" event in Diyarbakir and Paris which celebrated the first anniversary of the launch of 3G in Turkey. This event was selected among projects from 38 countries, mostly European.
